Have a look at some of the most common questions we're asked about fundraising for Blesma.
- Can a Blesma Member take part in my fundraiser?
Blesma does not ask, nor expect any of its Members to fundraise. However if they want to get involved they are of course very welcome!
- Can a Blesma representative attend my event?
Whilst we would absolutely love to attend every event that fundraisers hold in aid of Blesma sometimes this isn’t possible. A few things we have to factor in is cost, time and distance where possible we will try to have a Blesma representative attend your event. Please give us lots of notice!
- Can I order materials for my event?
Of course you can! Contact our fundraising team at Fundraising@blesma.org to ask for a materials form
- Can I have help organising my event?
Of course you can! Our Community and Events fundraising team are here to help you support Blesma, just contact us at Fundraising@blesma.org whilst we are more than happy to help you with your event unfortunately we cannot organise the event for you.
- What happens if I don't meet my fundraising target?
If you have taken part in a challenge event through Blesma you have up to a month after your event to reach your target. We incur costs by being involved in third party running events so it's important that you reach your fundraising pledge. If you think that you will have any trouble meeting your pledge you should contact us. We will be able to talk through your options and provide you with practical and effective fundraising ideas to help you get back on track.
This does not apply to fundraisers who have their own place in events as their expenses are already covered.
- I want to fundraise for Blesma but I'm not sure how, can you give me some ideas?

- How much of the money raised goes towards supporting Blesma Members?
Here at Blesma we make sure as much of your money goes directly towards supporting Limbless Veterans. For every £1 you raise 83p goes directly towards supporting our Members and the remaining 17p is used to raise the next pound.
- Can I take part in more than one challenge event for Blesma?
So you’ve fundraised for Blesma once and you’ve caught the Blesma bug and you would like to do another?
Of course you can take part in more than one challenge event, if you are taking part in a challenge event through Blesma you will need to make sure you are able to hit all minimum sponsorship targets.
