  • From needing help to helping others: Mark Smith's story

    Blesma Member Mark Smith has an incredible story to tell. Having signed up at 16 years of age with little-to-no education, he suffered with many mental health struggles post-service which nearly took his life. Then, a diagnosis set him on the right track. He got himself back up and back into education, eventually completing a post graduate diploma while dealing with the loss of his leg.   • Amputee Royal Signals Veteran takes on London Marathon for Blesma

    Lexi Chambers, 44, will be one of thirteen taking part in this year’s Virgin London Marathon in aid of military charity Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.   • Blesma mourns death of Queen Elizabeth II

    Blesma wish to send their deepest condolences to the Royal Family following news of the death of Her Majesty’s Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen was an unstinting supporter and great friend of the Armed Forces and her veterans. While we mourn her passing, we remain extremely thankful for a lifetime of service and selflessness. Blesma has passed on it’s condolences to our patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO, the Queen’s cousin.
