    In 2010, Hari lost both his legs while serving in Afghanistan with The Royal Gurkha Rifles. In the years following his injury, Hari took up ice and rock climbing and soon he began to follow his childhood dream of climbing Mount Everest. He was originally denied permission by the Nepalese tourism office to climb the world’s tallest peak because he doesn’t have legs. “I worked so hard in 2017 to get ready for the climb up Everest and I was actually training on a mountain when I found out.
