Project title
Use of digital apps for the long term management of traumatic amputees
Outline of project
I am undertaking some work on the use of digital applications in the long-term management of people who have had a traumatic amputation, as opposed to an amputation that was planned/due to a chronic condition.
For this study I have created a questionnaire which aims to explore what this population group would want to be included in future apps. The questionnaire itself will generally take less than 10 minutes to complete and my hope is that the data I obtain will potentially help to shape future developments in this rapidly expanding area of healthcare provision. There currently does not appear to be any specifically developed resources for amputees and I feel it is important to try to ensure that we try to address this deficit and gain a better understanding of what would be useful in reality.Contact email
