Project title
Living with pain: narratives from a veterans perspective
Outline of project
My research explores veterans’ experiences of pain, and responds directly to findings in prior VFI research that how veterans live with and mange chronic pain is poorly understood (Engward 2018. http://bit.ly/BlesmaFamiliesStudy.).
To conduct this research, we would like to invite up to 15 veterans who have experience of dealing with chronic pain. The important criteria for participants to take part is that they currently live with chronic pain, whether this be as a direct result of injury in military service, or after service. If individuals choose to participate, I will visit the veterans at a time and place convenient to them to conduct an interview for their stories and experiences to be told
