Members' Weekend 2021
7 October 2021What a weekend! Last weekend nearly 200 Blesma Members were able to gather together again for the first Members' Weekend since before the Covid crisis. Chief Executive Jon Bryant shared his thoughts on the event. The fantastic activities on offer ranged widely. There were virtual reality video games, tai chi, afternoon teas and gift wrapping workshops - to name a few! Keep an eye out for more Members weekend coverage in the upcoming magazine!

The Charities Cup
1 October 2021Back in July, Blesma Member Daniel Bingley organised a Call of Duty league tournament, pitting four military charities against each other whilst raising funds for Veterans. Representing Blesma were team captain Jack Cummings, Lionel O’Connor, Alex Harrisonand Stu Warner. Blesma, Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and The Wounded Warrior Project each entered a team to face off in the four-week tournament. Each Saturday in July focused on one of the four military charities, and the gamers live-streamed their matches to raise awareness and funds. Tea

Members in Northern Ireland have a taste of the good life
29 September 2021Ten households in Northern Ireland signed up to take part in an Blesma activity to enjoy a taste of The Good Life and hopefully find a tranquil space to relax their minds. An array of summer vegetable and salad leaf seeds, with everything needed to get started, were delivered directly to Members, and sowing commenced at the end of April.
