26 January 2021Opportunistic criminals are now using the COVID-19 Vaccine to attempt to con people out of funds and their personal data. These scammers have so far been active in the North East and in Wales, but it's important to stay vigilant wherever you live. The Police Economic Crime Team has become aware that criminals have been sending texts and emails attempting to lure people to apply for the COVID-19 vaccine.
