Blesma awarded by the Big Salute!
27 March 2021The BFBS Big Salute is our annual campaign that raises vital funds for armed forces charities. It is separate to grants awarded under the BFBS Welfare Fund scheme. Each year BFBS invites forces charities to apply for grants to support specific projects for the serving military, families or veterans with every penny raised goes to the beneficiary projects. The Big Salute has recently awarded a grant to Blesma, to allow us to continue our programme of virtual Activities, which have kept many Members connected and conquered isolation during the lockdown.

MIND to host sessions for Blesma Families
26 March 2021Mind Sheffield is offering family members of someone who experiences PTSD, a three week course via Zoom. World Poetry Day: Poems from our Membership
21 March 2021Today (Sunday 21st March) is World Poetry Day. Its purpose is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world. In the Summer 2020 issue of the Bulletin, we encouraged Members to submit their own poems for publication.
