Course Description from Sheffield Mind
Our course is designed with families in mind. We have spent years working with military families, especially those who are supporting a Veteran with PTSD, and we know how difficult it can be. We wanted to take those conversations we have had with individual family members, and put them into a course which is easily accessible. The course will, therefore, support more families during what can be a difficult time.

The aim of the course is to help people understand more about PTSD and how it affects people, how to communicate and support someone struggling with PTSD, and finally the importance of looking after yourself when supporting others. It will also include time to have conversations with others who may be in a similar situation.

The course runs on Zoom for three consecutive weeks, for 90 minutes each week.
