You may be able to claim If you are:
- • Aged 16 – pension age at first point of claim
- • Live in England, Northern Ireland or Wales
- • Having difficulty with your daily living or mobility
What is Attendance Allowance?
Attendance Allowance (AA) is a benefit for people aged over pension age, who need help with their personal care or making sure they are safe.
Who can claim Attendance Allowance?
You may be able to claim if you are:
• Not already receiving Personal Independence Payment or Disability Living Allowance
• Aged pension age or over
• Having difficulty with your personal care
