Project: Activities for Limbless and Injured Female Veterans
We are delighted to have been awarded a total grant of £66,340 from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust’s Reaching and Supporting Armed Forces Communities Programme to help our female Blesma Members until December 2025.
This two-year project delivers bespoke activities to support the needs of female limbless and injured veterans and serving personnel. Activities delivered in areas across the UK help beneficiaries build self-confidence, resilience and mutual support. The project aims to help participants experience long-term benefits through establishing connections, friendships and support networks.
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has kindly supported Blesma since 2019, funding a variety of specific project and pieces of work to support our limbless and injured veterans and their families in areas across the UK. Most recently this also included supporting our Outreach activities programme for Members and their families in Scotland (2020 – 2024).
We are incredibly grateful for their very diverse support and generosity throughout the pandemic and in recent years.
