  • Colonel James Phillips made first Wales Veterans’ Commissioner

    The Office for Veterans Affairs and the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales have jointly appointed Colonel James Phillips as Veterans’ Commissioner for Wales. Welsh Secretary Simon Hart said he was delighted that James Phillips had been appointed to the role, which will build on the success of counterpart roles in Scotland and Northern Ireland and will mean that all devolved nations have a Veterans’ Commissioner. James will be working to enhance the support for veterans in Wales, as well as scrutinising and advising on government policy for veterans.

We will be celebrating all things Video Games!If you love video games, now is a great time to sign up to our Discord! There are weekly Call of Duty Training Sessions, and matches against other gamers representing the RBL, Wounded Warrior Project, Military teams and more. Most importantly it’s another way to meet and socialise with your fellow Members. Our E-sports Team is always looking for new Members to take part

  • Sheffield Christmas Party is an overnight success!

    Last December the Outreach Officers for North East and North West combined forces to put together a landmark Christmas event. The event was the first overnight Activity to have been hosted by the Outreach Officers since they joined Blesma back in 2018. Over 65 Members met for an overnight Christmas party in Sheffield, including five new Members who had never had the chance to meet up in person before due to coronavirus restrictions.
