25 January 2014An amputee motorcycle paramedic from the West Midlands donated 3 motorcycles to a London-based military charity on Saturday 25 April in Aldridge. John Brown from Walsall had to have his left leg amputated after a road accident whilst on duty shattered his pelvis in 2007. The 53-year-old says: “I am not looking for a pat on the back here, I think I am very fortunate to have survived and have an incredible amount of admiration for those who incur such injuries by putting their lives on the line. The Row2Recovery Team complete their Atlantic adventure!
22 January 2014The Row2Recovery team have completed their Atlantic adventure by making it safe and sound to Antigua. Wheelchair Laser Tag Tournament
19 January 2014Blesma Volunteer George and I drove down to Fareham from London to take part in Member Richard Hunt's Wheelchair Laser Tag Tournament, which was raising money for us through his upcoming challenge, The Great Paddle Round. 13 January 2014Blesma Member Cayle Royce updates us from the middle of the Atlantic.... The team are due to arrive in Antigua early next week! Day 38 (10th Jan) - Cayle Royce A splashy night last night but we topped it off with an amazing sunrise. I was in a bit of a daze as the sun came up so when I saw a fin off the stern of the boat I wasn’t sure if I was hallucinating. I kept watching and then I saw it again.
