    The Blesma Annual General Meeting 2016 provided a chance to celebrate the inspiring work of Members, volunteers and staff and report that the charity was in a strong position. Delegates and guests at the meeting, held at the RAF Club, in Piccadilly, London, heard chief executive Barry Le Grys present the Trustees’ Annual and Strategic Report and introduce a series of speakers who defined Blesma’s commitment to the future.   • 81-year-old fundraiser takes to the sky to mark 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme

    On Saturday 2nd July 2016, fearless Blesma Members and supporters will be marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme by leaping 13,500ft from a plane. Fall for the Fallen is Blesma’s annual charity tandem skydiving event to honour our fallen heroes. Jumps will be taking place in Wiltshire, Peterborough and Lincolnshire and last year the event raised £29,120.   • Changes to Membership categories

    The Blesma AGM was held today at the RAF Club in central London. As part of the proceedings, new Articles of Association were voted into place by those present and by Members who had sent in their postal vote to redefine some of the Membership categories. While there have been no major changes, the main addition is that those who lose the use of their limb(s) through a traumatic incident that is not service-related are now eligible for Associate Membership.  If you have any queries regarding the Membership categories, please speak to your BSO or call Blesma on 0208 590 1124.

  • Where to find Blesma this Armed Forces Day

    This year's Armed Forces Day national event is being held in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire with a whole weekend filled with spectacular events. Saturday 25th June 2016 marks the awareness day but events are set to take place from Friday for Blesma as our team with be collecting at the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Quarter Final – Warrington Wolves v Widnes Vikings. Rugby fans can catch the match on BBC2 from 19:30pm. Events will be happening up and down the country in support of Armed Forces Day with communities holding events and businesses p
