Back and better than ever: Members’ Weekend 2021
19 November 2021Blesma Members Weekend After a year-and-a-half of isolation, during which Members’ Weekend 2020 was cancelled because of Covid, the Association was finally able to gather Members together again in October for two days of hugging old friends, meeting new ones, sharing stories and trying out new activities. 11 November 2021Remembrance Day 2021: Murray's Story “The vehicle was thrown 10 feet into the air. I kept going” Murray served for 12 years in the Royal Tank Regiment, but his life was shattered by a bomb blast in Afghanistan in 2010 that left both his feet needing to be amputated. He struggled mentally for a number of years afterwards; firstly with the aftermath of amputation, and more profoundly when he lost his young son to a sudden illness. Meet our new Staff Members - Joolz Hitchcock
5 November 2021Joolz recently joined us as Blesma’s new Database Manager. Tell us about your role? It’s a multiple layered role working across the various different Blesma teams. From the Members database, to the fundraising Database, the main focus currently is ensuring the Databases meet the needs of the staff using them. It’s always a work in progress!GDPR plays an important part of the role, as does reconciliation of donations, so I work closely with the Individual Giving Officer. How have you settled into Blesma?

2 November 2021Dear Members, Blesma are delighted to invite you to our Christmas Carol Service at Chelmsford Cathedral on Thursday 2nd December 2021. We want to use this invitation as a thank you for the support you have given to your Association, and as a chance to celebrate Christmas together.
