British and Argentine Falklands Veterans are uniting to scale Mont Blanc
8 September 2022Former soldiers from the Argentine forces, Gurkhas, Welsh Guards, Royal Engineers, SAS, and the Royal Marines will attempt to scale Mont Blanc in an “act of reconciliation” to mark the 40th anniversary of the conflict. The six-day mission to climb the 15,774ft mountain will be led by former Welsh Guardsman Will Kevans in an effort to raise funds for Blesma. Photography Exhibition set to showcase the work of Blesma Members
7 September 2022A photography exhibition at the University of Plymouth is set to showcase the work of injured veterans. The 250 photographs on display are the work of injured veterans from the Military Charity Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, who all form part of the ‘Southwest Photography Group’. The group of now 17 was founded in 2020 by Royal Navy Darran Thompson to give photographers in the area a weekly focus during the lockdown
