Joolz recently joined us as Blesma’s new Database Manager.
- Tell us about your role?
It’s a multiple layered role working across the various different Blesma teams. From the Members database, to the fundraising Database, the main focus currently is ensuring the Databases meet the needs of the staff using them. It’s always a work in progress!
GDPR plays an important part of the role, as does reconciliation of donations, so I work closely with the Individual Giving Officer.
- How have you settled into Blesma?
Wow, how to answer that question! It’s been a massive learning curve, as starting any new role is, but I have had amazing support from colleagues across the teams, with a special shout out to Lisa Povey & Anita Jolly! What’s been so refreshing is how quickly everybody welcomed me into the Blesma Team and now, five months on, I feel like I have always been here. A big Thank you to everyone.
