  • Making Generation R shows resilience during lockdown

    Making Generation R (MGR) is proving its resilience.  Making Generation R, which trains veterans to deliver their life stories to help build resilience in pupils and first responders, has been running a series of online initiatives to support skill levels and maintain connections in lockdown. One of these offerings is live sessions via a Zoom link to groups and organisations.   • Blesma at Home workout (Level 1 Session 3)

    Gregg Stevenson has devised a weekly home workout especially for his fellow Members, to help us keep our mind and bodies healthy during lock-down. "My name is Gregg and I am a Blesma Member that works at SMRC Preston (the prosthetics centre gym). We focus on the benefits that strength, fitness and mobility can bring to amputees and wheelchair users. I intend to develop several fitness sessions for you to try at home, with minimal equipment.   • Connecting on Armed Forces Day

    Though Armed Forces Day 2020 was unlike any other, separation did not dampen the spirits of Blesma’s staff and Membership.
