Blesma Brunches given National Lottery boost
28 January 2020The Midland Area’s Blesma Brunch project has received a financial boost from the National Lottery. The grant, which is worth almost £10,000, will enable Midlands’ BSO Sam Wileman and Outreach Officer Vanessa Lucas to bring even more Members together in the local community. The brunches allow Members to meet each other over a cuppa and a snack. Making Generation R Talks for adult first responders and frontline service workers
13 January 2020Blesma has announced it's lastest Making Generation R brand extension: Making Generation R Talks. The Talks will be tailored to adults in workplaces and educational centres across the UK who wish to learn how to improve personal resilience and overcome adversity. As with the Making Generation R visits to schools, which have seen veterans tell their stories of life-changing injuries and personal struggles of overcoming adversity to more than 60,000 young people, the Talks will aim to inspire and motivate first responders and frontline service workers.
