  • Blesma Member Pradip to take on the Virtual London Marathon

    Former Gurkha Pradip Rai, who is paralysed from the chest down, is taking on the virtual London Marathon in his everyday wheelchair this Sunday! This will be his first attempt of the London Marathon, which is being completed virtually across the world this year. Prad and his fellow marathon participants will have 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds to complete the 26.2 miles. Prad, 48, who served in the Royal Gurkha Rifles for nearly 21 years, said: “Blesma is truly close to my heart because it helped me in so many ways duringthose initial difficult days post injury. “Throu

    An Army veteran who became the first double leg amputee to race in a support class of the British Superbike Championships before hanging up his leathers has made a return to racing.
