In these times of self-distancing and self-isolation, communicating with others becomes so important to our mental health and wellbeing.
Blesma has teamed up with The Drive Project to provide you with a 3-part communication workshop to help connect you with your fellow Blesma Members, spouses and carers develop your communication skills for use on video calls (such as Facetime, Whatsapp Video Call, Skype or Zoom) and explore storytelling and the power of connecting with others.
What’s involved?
You will join a maximum of 20 fellow Blesma Members, spouses and carers for a 3-part workshop across a 10-day period (workshop dates listed below). Led by professional trainers and theatre practitioners Phil Peacock and Al Nedjari, and supported by a Blesma Member facilitator from the Making Generation R programme, you will be taken through a series of discussions and exercises which explore how we connect and communicate during times of self-distancing and self-isolation.
You will work both as a group as well as in smaller breakout sessions, which will provide you with the opportunity for one-to-one training along with time for discussion with your fellow Blesma Members.
