We're thrilled to share details of a BA Flying Experience Day organised by The CASEVAC Club. Blesma has kindly been offered spaces for a limited number of our Members to attend this exciting event.
What's included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and transport to and from Heathrow
Applicant requirements:
- Member must be able to make their own way to the meeting point, White Waltham Airfield, for 8.30am
-applicants will need to be able to climb at least one flight of stairs
-the simulators are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible
-if you have already applied for this activity through The Invictus Games Foundation, The Royal Hospital Chelsea, or the CASEVAC Club, please let us know on application. If you have had a space already confirmed by one of these organisations, you need not apply.
Please see last year's schedule below, which will give you an idea of what to expect, although some parts may change slightly.
0830 - 0900 - Breakfast baps and coffee at WWAF
0930 - Depart for Heathrow - Coach travel is provided
1000 - 1030: Arrive Vanguard House, pass issue and proceed to BA Training Centre
1030 - 1100: Welcome and briefings
1100 - 1300: First wave flying (Remainder - ground activities and lunch)
1300 - 1500: Second wave flying (Remainder - lunch and ground activities)
1515 - 1600: Motivational talk with Q& A.
1615: Depart for West London Aero Club (White Waltham)
1700 onwards: Curry and beers
