Their Story
Before stepping up to the role of Blesma Support Officer, Sarah spent three and half years working as the Outreach Officer in the Southwest, where she was supporting Members, Widows, and their families and connecting them to each other through events and community groups.
Prior to this, Sarah ran a scuba diving company in Weymouth for several years until 2015, which is how she first got involved with Blesma, and worked with Gwent Police as a civilian staff member.

Gordon Clark
Originally from Blackburn, Gordon left in 1977 to join the Royal Navy and served for 26 years. His last posting involved working with the armed forces team on the implementation of a new dining system. A keen sportsman, he has always loved to give everything a go.
Since leaving the services, Gordon has held various management roles in the hospitality sector. However, this came to an end when an injury sustained while serving led to the amputation of his right leg below the knee. In January 2023, he decided it was time to return to work and was fortunate to be given the role of Outreach Officer.
Gordon remains a keen sportsman, playing golf and cycling. His main focus is wheelchair rugby, where he serves as Chairman for the Celtic Warriors in Cornwall, where he now lives.
