In 2025, Armed Forces Week will take place from Sunday, 22nd June until Saturday, 28th June.
Across the UK, events will be held to commemorate our Armed Forces, with a majority of celebrations taking place on Armed Forces Day, on Saturday, 28th June 2025. There is also a Reserves Day taking place on Wednesday, 25th June.
Why do we have Armed Forces Day and an Armed Forces Week?
Armed Forces Week offers the opportunity for the public and military families to pay tribute to serving military personnel, veterans and the cadets.
2025 is also a significant year to pay tribute to our Armed Forces due to the 80th anniversary of VE Day, which has also led to a large number of commemorative events taking place throughout June.

Armed Forces Week events
From 22nd June - 28th June, there will be a whole host of Armed Forces Week events taking place across the United Kingdom, with a majority on Armed Forces Day.
