In 2024, Armed Forces Week will take place from Monday, 24th June until Sunday, 30th June.

Across the UK, events will be held to commemorate our Armed Forces, with a majority of celebrations taking place on Armed Forces Day, on Saturday, 29th June 2024. There is also a Reserves Day taking place on 26th June.

Why do we have Armed Forces Day and an Armed Forces Week?

Armed Forces Week offers the opportunity for the public and military families to pay tribute to serving military personnel, veterans and the cadets.

2024 is also a significant year to pay tribute to our Armed Forces due to the 80th anniversary of D-Day, which has also led to a large number of commemorative events taking place throughout June.
