About the Oxford Half Marathon Route
Run through the streets of historic Oxford! Start on Mansfield Rd and run through the beautiful sites of Old Marston village, the River Cherwell, Oxford University's stunning Lady Margaret Hall, and finish in the heart of Oxford University.

The marathon starts at 9.30 am on Sunday, 11 October
Why should I fundraise for Blesma?
Blesma provides a lifetime support for veterans who have suffered life-changing limb loss or the use of a limb, an eye or sight.
Thanks to our fundraisers we can continue doing this vital work, ensuring veterans receive practical help, rehabilitation support and a community they can rely on for life.

There is a registration fee of £25 and a minimum fundraising requirement of £250.
FAQ
- When will my start time be confirmed?
Start times will be announced 2 weeks before the event day.
You will then be allocated and sent your wave time.
- Is there a minimum age requirement to take part?
The minimum age for competitors is 17 on race day.
- Is there a bag drop available at the Oxford Half?
Yes - there will be a space to store your bag whilst you run. You will receive your race number in the post if you purchased race pack postage, which will also contain your bag label and bag collection tab.
Please visit the tent that corresponds to your race number range. Any bag dropped at the bag drop must be a maximum of 45cm x 45cm x 25cm (normal backpack size). Larger bags, holdalls and any size suitcase, will not be accepted. Random bag checks will also be in operation on event day by our security team – please follow all instructions if asked by organisers.
- Are there any changing rooms?
There is usually a limited amount of changing space available for runners to use at the Oxford Half, which will be located close to the bag drop area.
The Race Day Guide will have more information and will be available 2 weeks prior to the event and emailed to all runners
