Immerse yourself in the history of our ancestors on a 100km walk through the frontlines of World War I – from the Battle of the Somme to Menin Gate. Taking place 7th- 11th  October 2026.

About the Frontline Walk

Blesma is teaming up with the Army Benevolent Fund Setting off from Lochnagar Crater where the Battle of the Somme began, explore key sites from the Battles of Ypres and Arras and visit memorial grounds honouring the soldiers who fought over 100 years ago. 

The Challenge

Over the course of three days, you'll embark on a 100km trek across the western front passing historical sights. Not a challenge for the faint-hearted, it will push you physically and emotionally as you follow in the footsteps of those who fought for our freedom.

Fees and Fundraising

Registration fee: £150

Fundraising target: £1,400* (£750 due by 20th July 2026)

*when you sign up with Blesma, you will be fundraising for Blesma only.

  • All transfers whilst on the trip
  • Accommodation throughout on a twin room ensuite basis (single rooms available at an additional cost)
