Gardens of Hanbury prepare for Halloween experience in support of military charity

Saturday 18th March will see the Gardens of Hanbury in High Beach, Epping Forest transform into a terrifying Halloween experience in preparation for the main event in October.

The taster evening will run from 7pm-9pm and is free to attend. There will also be refreshments available. It is being organised by Jan Twaits, who runs Indigo Sapphire Parties. Proceeds of the main event in October will come to Blesma.

Jan says: “I wanted to support a local charity so looked online, many others did not attract me, but have always felt those who were in the armed forces do not always seem to get the help they need. I think they do wonderful things for their country - so when I came across Blesma I thought yes they are the charity for me.”

To find out more information about the taster event in March or the main Halloween event in October, contact Jan at JaniceTwaits@hotmail.co.uk or search ‘Indigo Sapphire Parties’ on Facebook.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is the national charity for all limbless service men and women, their widows and dependants. It was formed in the years following the First World War and became a national charity in 1932.
