Models swap their Makeup for Mud in aid of Limbless Veterans!

11 May 2015

On Saturday 16 May, a team of female models from the ‘Always with a Smile Foundation’ will join 200 mud runners to take on Nuclear Rush, an extreme off road assault course, in aid of injured ex-servicemen.

Model and blogger, Francesca Chiorando, who will be leading the charge alongside Always With a Smile Founder, Joel Hicks said, “I cannot wait to tackle this brilliant course in aid of Blesma, to get muddy and to have an amazing day with the rest of these wonderful women!”

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is one of the chosen charities for this year’s Nuclear Rush event, which takes place at the Secret Nuclear Bunker in Kelvedon Hatch, Essex.

For every runner taking part in the Blesma Wave at 12:30pm, the team at Nuclear Races will generously donate £5 to support Blesma’s vital work helping limbless veterans lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Alongside taking on this extreme challenge, the team have also been fundraising for Blesma and aim to raise over £1,000.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is the national charity for all limbless service men and women, their widows and dependants. It was formed in the years following the First World War and became a national charity in 1932.
