  • Limb Loss and Limb Difference Community to Gather in Parliament for First Time in Over a Decade

    The UK’s limb loss and limb difference community will come together in Parliament on 29 April to raise awareness of the growing number of people affected and the urgent need to strengthen support and prosthetic services nationwide. The event — the first of its kind in over a decade — takes place during Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month and will bring together charities, healthcare professionals and people with lived experience from across the country.

  • Building Chopper out of Timber is Perfect Project for Kieran Wood

    Member Kieran Wood is part of a team that has constructed a wooden helicopter at a scheme that helps veterans and their families through practical projects. Kieran, who served with the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, is a regular at Dig In in Preston, and was at the centre of the helicopter project which took three months to complete. “It is fantastic to go there every week and work with other veterans – I really enjoy going,” said Kieran, who suffered life-changing brain injurie
