Lee Spencer has been honoured with the Endeavour Fund’s Celebrating Excellence award at a ceremony attended by Prince Harry in March.
Lee was recognised for completing a solo row of the Atlantic Ocean in 2019, breaking three world records along the way.
“The Endeavour Fund has played a large part in my rehab and recovery, so I was extremely humbled just to be nominated,” said Lee, who served in the Royal Marines for 24 years.
“To win the Celebrating Excellence award blew me away, especially as the competition was so inspiring."
