As Making Generation R’s 2019/20 programme draws to a close, join us in looking back at some of the many highlights from the past year!
Making Generation R this year saw 15 new Blesma Members taking part in storytelling training, and 43 Members returned to the programme, continuing to inspire resilience in 89 schools across the country. Despite some significant bumps in the road (namely Covid-19), there’s no denying that is has been a pretty incredible 12 months.
MGR at home was quick to pick up momentum, with Members staying connected and learning more about how to deliver impactful talks online over the course of 17 weeks.
Perhaps the greatest achievement of the year was the quick creation of online digital resislience resources packs, designed to help reach schools at a time in which students were needing to find resilience more than ever. These online interactive talks have reach over 40,000 students.
The Team behind Making Generation R said ‘We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has booked a Making Generation R Talk, Workshop or Webinar - your support has meant that over 100,000 people have now heard and been inspired by these incredible stories of overcoming adversity.’
Thank you all, we will be looking forward to next year!
