Gregg Stevenson has devised a weekly home workout especially for his fellow Members, to help us keep our mind and bodies healthy during lock-down.

Former Royal Engineer Gregg lost one leg above and the other below the knee after triggering an IED while on patrol in Afghanistan in 2009. During his rehabilitation he gained weight, and at the same time was looking at how he could improve his situation. It was a long road to recovery, but he decided the answer was to throw himself into fitness.

With a little help from Blesma, Gregg has since gained qualifications in physical training– going on to work as a lead physical training instructor. He specialises in exercise and disability referral and he aims to help people with disabilities get back to exercise and challenge themselves physically.

Gregg lives with his wife Melanie and two young sons. When not creating exercise videos ‘Mr Stevenson’ has also had his hands full with home-schooling!

These videos are for all Members looking to improve their fitness at any level.

Gregg will put together three types of workout. Seated workouts, level one workouts, and level two workouts.

If you are interested in finding out more, or would like some tips around exercise, you can get in touch with Gregg through Blesma Connects, or contact the activities team at any time to access the full workout plan.
