31 March 2017

This Thursday (30th March) Blesma Members got the opportunity to meet footballers of West Ham United Football Club.

Blesma Members Nigel Smith, Matty Woollard, Stu Pearson and Gam Gurung joined the club’s players during their training session at their Romford training ground.

West Ham United have selected Blesma as a charity partner for the 2016/17 season in honour of the Charities’ work, based in Chadwell Heath. West Ham United and Blesma have developed a strong relationship through the West Ham United Foundation’s Learn to Coach programme.

Members got the chance to watch the team train before meeting the players and joining them for lunch.

Charity collection at West Ham vs Swansea City match

On 8th April, West Ham are holding a charity collection for Blesma during their match against Swansea City FC in a bid to raise money for our wounded veterans and to raise the profile of the charity. Blesma staff and Members will be present at the match shaking their buckets and Blesma Member Stu Pearson will also be interviewed at half time.
