Hailsham College Students raise over £1,000 for Blesma

A group of students from Hailsham Community College organised a quiz and games night in aid of Blesma as part of their college course.  

Around 90 people attended the event, which raised an incredible £1,116.43, including a very generous donation from Guaranteed Conveyancing Solutions. 

Last week, Community Fundraiser Hana Goodman (pictured with teacher Simon Mills and the event organisers), visited the college to receive the cheque on behalf of Blesma. 

Director of Learning for Business at the college, Simon Mills said, “I am so proud of what the students have achieved. Not only have they showed remarkable business acumen, resourcefulness and confidence while organising this quiz night, but they have also raised an incredible amount of money for a fantastic cause”
