Sir Stuart Etherington’s report for the Government, published in September 2015, looking into Regulating Fundraising for the Future (Trust in Charities, Confidence in Fundraising Regulation) points to a new approach to fundraising regulation.

Blesma wants to let you know that this will mean no substantive change to the way we fundraise.   We have always been and always will be on the right side of good values now and in the future.   Blesma will support any recommendations that are accepted as a result of Sir Stuart’s conclusions and in particular supports the appointment of a newly established fundraising regulator.

We do not sell, swap or share our supporters data with anyone, cold call on doorsteps or by telephone and always swiftly apply opt-out procedures.

You will find further information on Our Fundraising Promise, Data Protection and Complaints Procedure, should you require it, on the Standards Page of the Blesma website. Additionally our Annual Report 2014 gives more detail on Blesma’s values, activities and performance.
