An incredible 600 Krispy Kreme doughnuts were sold in 10 minutes at Queens' School with the help of several cadets, sixth-formers and officers Flt Lt Dombey and Plt Off Forrester, for the military charity Blesma on Friday 27 March.
With 10 minutes being 600 seconds we make that was one sold per second! This is an incredible achievement and testament to how efficient cadets can be.
Separate stands were also manned by cadets with games such as 'Guess the Weight of the Officers' to win prizes such as a £25 Intu voucher, a remote control helicopter and a Mercedes-benz USB stick.
Cadets also formed groups in the afternoon to collect any final donations. The total amount raised has not been fully counted yet but the initial estimate looks like around £400. A superb achievement by all involved.
This fundraising effort is to support Fg Off Flindall as he takes part in the Virgin London Marathon 2016 on behalf of Blesma. To sponsor Fg Off Flindall please visit his Online Giving Page.
