About the Workshop

In this two-day workshop with Simon Watson, you will have the opportunity to create a sculpture of your head that explores your own identity, using the materials of clay and natural or man-made objects. You will initially look at discovering what you want to express about your lives and experiences, developing responses through drawing games, discussions, and analysis of paintings and sculpture.

Following this, you will be shown the materials we use to construct the sculptures, and the techniques that would be required.

You will leave the workshop on the second day with your sculpture.

*No previous sculpture or art skills are required*
