About the Sessions

Introductory Taster Sessions

Introductory Taster Sessions in Meditation, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for partners and carers.

Take some time for yourself, and find out about the benefits of meditation and self-compassion for those who support and care for a loved one.

This taster session will include a short introduction from Catherine Powell (London Meditation Project) about how an attitude of self-compassion can help with self-care, relaxation, relationships, acceptance, confidence, boundaries self-respect, sleep, and other things too!  There will be space to introduce ourselves, a led experiential meditation practice (not too long!), and space for questions, all in the company of others with shared experiences.

There are two introductory taster sessions being held:

Session 1
Date: Monday 12 May
Time: 1pm to 2.30pm
Location: virtually, via Zoom

Session 2
Date: Monday 19 May
Time: 1pm to 2.30pm
Location: virtually, via Zoom

Meditation Mondays Course

If you enjoy the taster sessions, you are then warmly welcome to join the Meditation Mondays for Partners/Carers course.

Date: weekly on Mondays from 2 June to 14 July (please note, there won't be a session on Monday 30 June due to Members Weekend)
Time: 1pm to 2.30pm
Location: virtually, via Zoom
