Their Story
Tom served a full 29-year military career in army, and has served across the world, including tours of the Gulf, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, and Afghanistan. Before leaving the army in 2017, Tom’s final 5 years of service was enjoyed working at the Personnel Recovery Unit in Brecon helping servicemen and women recovering from injury.
“My role in the PRU allowed me to manage and support many wounded, injured and sick soldiers, including amputees.”
Tom lives on the coast in West Wales with his wife, Lisa, and their 2 border terriers, Bracken and Bertie. When not working he spends his time volunteering, walking, swimming, and enjoying quality time with family in beautiful Pembrokeshire.

Jason joined the Army in 1992 and served a full career of 22 years in the Royal Welch Fusiliers, he has served on numerous operational tours including 3 Tours of Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and 5 Tours of Afghanistan. He has also exercised in Canada, Jordan, Falkland Islands and the USA just to name a Few.
Jason Finally left the Regular Army in 2014 with the Rank of Warrant Officer class 2 and joined the reserve forces as a Welfare Officer within the Royal Artillery until he retired from Military service in 2018 and gained employment within Blesma The Limbless veterans.
Jason was awarded the Meritorious Service medal on the 2013 New year’s Honours list for good, Faithful and Valuable Service to the Crown.
