Outreach Officer North West Catherine Green
Catherine previously worked for 30 years in Primary Education before accepting the post of Outreach Officer for the Northwest.
After working with veterans in a voluntary capacity for over 15 years, to be offered the position at Blesma seemed a natural progression, one which Catherine feels is a rewarding and fulfilling role.
Catherine loves nothing more than being out on an activity with her Northwest members. “ The banter is great , and we do get very competitive when doing some activities… ten pin bowling is always a big competition! And the loser always gets a booby prize… whether it be a tomato, or a plum or even a clothes peg… the competition is high, especially when there is a trophy at stake! But socially, we have a great turnout in the Northwest, the monthly breakfast being the most popular“.
