Double your Impact During The Big Give Christmas Challenge

From midday 2 December to midday 9 December, every donation made through our Big Give campaign page will be matched. That means if you make a donation of £25, it will be doubled to £50, at no extra cost to you.

As limbless and injured veterans age, mobility can become more challenging. Many live in homes that simply aren’t built for wheelchair users or amputees; making everyday tasks difficult, dangerous, or impossible.

By donating to our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign, your donation could help fund vital home and garden adaptations such as purpose-built ramps, widened door frames, wet rooms, downstairs bedrooms, built-in rails, and suitable paving for our Members.

Help Make Homes Accessible for Limbless Veterans

Blesma currently supports over 2,640 limbless veterans and widow(er)s across the UK, many of whom urgently need home or garden modifications to maintain their independence.

Thanks to generous supporters, we have been able to provide Alison with a new mobility chair that allows her to move around more easily and fits into the family car, helping to improve her independence and wellbeing.

Other Members have received adaptations such as wet rooms, which allow them to shower without the risk of slipping, as well as accessible garden decking, ramps, and railings.

By donating during the Big Give Christmas Challenge, you’re not only helping to fund crucial accessibility improvements, you’re doubling the impact of every pound you give.

Donations made to the Big Give Christmas Challenge will go towards home and garden adaptations.
