Their Story
Miles served with The Queen’s Own Hussars for eight years and subsequently served for five years with 23 SAS in Scotland. After leaving the Regular Army, Miles joined Brewin Dolphin Limited, working as a Senior Divisional Director.
During his thirty years with the company he was financial advisor to many charities and individuals, including RBL Scotland, Scottish National War Memorial (Edinburgh Castle) and the Borders NHS Trust. He has also been a trustee for a number of charities in the military and civilian sectors.
In his spare time, Miles is a keen watercolour artist, and enjoys hill-running, racing cycling, skiing, game-fishing and holds an International Rally Driver’s licence. He is married with two adult children and lives in Devon.
