27 June 2020Armed Forces Day is a chance for everyone in the UK to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. 26 June 2020Gregg Stevenson has devised a weekly home workout especially for his fellow Members, to help us keep our mind and bodies healthy during lock-down. "My name is Gregg and I am a Blesma Member that works at SMRC Preston (the prosthetics centre gym). Isolated Blesma Widow inundated with cards and gifts on her 99th birthday
25 June 2020Birthday cards and gifts from Blesma Members have helped to raise the spirits of a 99-year-old isolated Blesma Widow. Lilian Almond was discharged into a nursing home away from family and friends in North Wales after spending some time in hospital, following a fall at home. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a shortage of care workers to assist her, Lilian could not return home and was instead moved to a nursing home near Llandudno.
