Watch the Blesma Remembrance 11k, live this Armistice day!
Blesma is set to run its first live streamed event this Armistice day, virtually bringing together the Blesma community to honour the fallen.
As over 180 participants are set to take part in Blesma’s Remembrance 11k event around the country, the live stream event will catch up with those Blesma Members, their families, staff and supporters taking part on Sunday in real time wherever they are, as well as showcasing several in-depth interviews with participants who have a deep connection with Remembrance and the Association.
Hosted by Royal Air Force Veteran, Paralympian and TV presenter Sean Rose, the personal stories of Blesma Members and Remembrance 11k participants bring home the powerful message of remembering the sacrifices our Armed Forces make and the importance of being together to Remember not only our fallen, but the living too.
Guests include Royal Air Force Veteran Andy Jepson, former British Army Combat Medic Nerys Pearce and family Members of our fallen WW2 Blesma Members.
The stream will begin at 9:00am on Blesma’s Facebook page and YouTube channel as participants tune in for the pre-race build up, briefing and warm up and finish at 11:00am with Blesma Chief Executive Jon Bryant laying a wreath at Blesma Chelmsford.
