Rebecca Maciejewski

Meet Rebecca Maciejewski

Trustee for Blesma since:

24 June 2014

Their Story

Rebecca brings a legal training and 20 years of life married to a soldier to Blesma.  Having qualified as a Barrister and practised law for a short time, Rebecca has spent the majority of her working life supporting the military community.  She served as the Coordinator of the Military Service Community Representatives for the Army Families Federation and worked as a Re-settlement Consultant for Servicemen and women leaving the Army before becoming more involved with welfare issues as the consequences of Operational Service in Iraq and Afghanistan took their toll on The Rifles, her husband’s Regiment.  Rebecca represented the families of the Regiment on The Rifles’ Welfare Study which established the modus operandi adopted by The Rifles for dealing with casualties, sits on The Rifles’ Advisory Board and also established and runs their Regimental appeal, Care for Casualties, which ensures that the Regiment has sufficient funds to help those in need as a result of injury or death.  Rebecca also serves as Secretary to The Victoria Cross and George Cross Association.
