On 8th May 1945 celebrations took place around the world to celebrate the end of the Second World War in Europe. After six years of a brutal war, it was finally over and people filled the streets dancing and celebrating together. In 2025 we are marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the war and this VE Day we want you to join us to mark this historic day by fundraising for our Injured Veterans.
You can join our VE Day 80 Challenge to walk/run 80 miles in the month of May, sign up for our VE Day Bake for Blesma and put on a tea party or street party just as they did in 1945 or you can be creative with the number 80 and put on your own challenge or event.
